Do you and your partner find yourselves having the same fight over and over? Counseling can help when you feel stuck on the same issue(s), or in a repeating cycle.
In my work with couples I support people in creating healthy, fulfilling connections with one another. I use contemporary approaches to understand what’s really happening for you and your partner. This includes attachment theory, which helps people better know each other, their needs, and themselves. This knowledge serves to reduce confusion and miscommunication, as well as frustration and resentment so that there can be more joy in your relationship.
Relationship counseling can help with:
-Patterns of high-conflict
-Struggles with co-parenting
-Challenges relating to sex or intimacy
-Lovingly navigating openness and agreements
-Discerning whether or not to stay together
-Substance use and/or disordered eating
-Trauma recovery, or situations where one partner faces particularly tough challenges
-Preventative action to build your communication and emotional intimacy skill sets before you deepen your commitment or take a different leap together
Just as every person is unique, so is every relationship. No matter what you want to change, I can support you.
My practice is open to consenting relationships of all kinds.
